Recognized as a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer (CMKBD), the highest certification level offered in the industry,
Ellen Cheever extends her design expertise to both commercial and residential venues. Ellen Cheever
and her team work with major manufacturers on merchandise space design, creating retail showroom spaces, major trade show exhibits, and editorial sets. Ellen has served as a showroom designer, collaborating with Häfele America on their corporate showrooms in New York and San Francisco, as well as DuPont™ Corian®’s corporate exhibition space designer and color consultant, Wilsonart International’s Exhibit design consultant, Sub-Zero Corporation’s exhibit design consultant, and Viking Culinary Arts Center kitchen design specialist. She has also collaborated with respected designers across the country, assisting them in showhouse kitchen design events.
Additionally, the award-winning firm maintains a private residential design practice, with a client base focused in
California, Arizona, and the Eastern part of the
United States. A member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), Ellen was named the 2002 Designer of Distinction by ASID’s Pennsylvania East Chapter.

Professional Highlights:

2003 KWC Design Competition Winner
Ellen Cheever & Pietro Giorgi, Sr., owner of Giorgi Kitchens & Designs in
Wilmington, Delaware, collaborated
on a kitchen renovation for the KWC Faucets/Sinks
Design Competition.
Their entry received
Kitchen Renovation of the Year for 2003 for it's
creative use of KWC faucets and sinks.
The poster on the right highlights photos
of their winning design.
The
Winterthur Museum Collection, Hand-crafted by
Heritage. Designed product offering, and
created training program for launch of exclusive
reproduction cabinetry offering: "The
Winterthur Museum Collection, Hand-crafted by
Heritage".
DuPont™
Surfaces. Served as liason, contributing
to the development of the award-winning DuPont™
Surfaces exhibit space at a Kitchen/Bath
Industry Show. The exhibit was recognized as
"Best of Show" from the American
Society of Interior Designers.
Hafele
America. Created customized kitchen displays
for Hafele America's flagship showrooms in San
Francisco, California and New York City, New
York in collaboration with Studios Architecture.
Hafele America's showroom in New York City named
"Manufacturer Showroom of the Year",
winning a 1st Place award in the Institute of
Store Planners' Store Design Awards Competition.
ASID
Designer of Distinction, 2002. Recognized by
the Society of Interior Designers Eastern
Pennsylvania Chapter for the breadth of work
completed by the firm in 2002.
