llen Cheever, CMKBD, ASID, CAPS, is an author and marketing specialist whose practical, yet innovative design solutions have helped shape the North American kitchen industry over the past 37 years. Ellen and her associates design retail showroom spaces, major trade show exhibits and editorial sets. Ellen is the author of 19 books and technical manuals covering the details of kitchen and bathroom standards. Most recently, she authored four of the nine volumes of the National Kitchen & Bath Association Professional Resource Library. Based on her experience and international travels, Ellen continues to write and speak about emerging design trends, the importance of green design, and ergonomic planning standards for residential kitchens and baths both domestically and internationally.
Ellen complements her industry involvement with a residential practice. Her joint effort with Giorgi Kitchens and Designs combines her design skills with space planning talents, product specification expertise and skillful project management of this respected Wilmington, Delaware based design/build firm.
